Domestic Solar Hot Water Heating Systems Training Manual
BPEC has launched its Domestic Solar Hot Water Heating Systems training manual. This is the first in a series of planned training manuals specialising in the area of renewable energy. The training material and course have been developed in collaboration with the Solar Trade Association and are designed to meet manufacturers requirements for the installation of domestic solar hot water heating systems that are currently available in the UK.
The BPEC solar heating training manual is aimed at candidates who have a number of years experience in plumbing or conventional heating engineering or hold a formal qualification in plumbing or heating engineering.
The Domestic Solar Hot Water Heating manual focuses on how to select, install and commission the most appropriate solar system for a building based on the clients needs and how to maintain the system once installed. Upon completion of the BPEC solar heating training course at an approved training centre, the candidate will be issued a BPEC Domestic Solar Hot Water Heating Systems certificate.
 The market for trained solar domestic hot water installers is growing.
